Tech-Etch is another preferred American supplier of contract manufacturing services you will find only at a Design-2-Part trade show at http://www.d2p.com.

Precision Engineered Photo Etched and Laser Cut Parts – Tech-Etch specializes in the manufacture of light gauge metal parts from .0005″ thick and up. The photo etching process (also called photo chemical etching and photo chemical milling) allows us to produce intricate metal components with close tolerances that are impossible to duplicate by other production methods. Photo etching eliminates the cost of hard tooling, improves design flexibility, and shortens lead times while eliminating burring and stress problems.

Tech-Etch is setting industry standards for the manufacture of encoders, masks, filters, lead frames, Battery Grids, flat springs, strain gauges, laminations, MicroEtch Screens, chip carriers, step covers, Fuel Cell Plates, heat sinks, shutter blades, electron grids, fluidic circuit plates, reticles, drive bands, haptics, and shims. Titanium etching, Tungsten etching and etching of other extremely corrosion resistant materials, such as Nitinol, Elgiloy and Molybdenum, enable Tech-Etch to produce complex parts for medical tools and implants. Copper Alloys, Beryllium Copper, Stainless Steels, Aluminum, Nickel and Nickel Alloys, Silver, Spring Steels, and Polyimide Film are also etched.

EMI Shielding & RF Shielding Products – Tech-Etch is a global supplier of EMI shielding products for the commercial and military markets. A leader in the RF shielding field for over 40 years, Tech-Etch designs and manufactures both standard catalog and customized shielding products. The complete shielding product line includes all sizes, shapes, compositions, mounting options and seal types. Products include BeCu EMI shielding contact strips (fingerstock), conductive elastomers, wire mesh, filters, honeycomb vents, board level shielding, metalized fabric shielding, conductive foam, and shielded windows.

Flexible Printed Circuit Manufacturing – Tech-Etch manufactures high reliability flexible printed circuits on polyimide substrates using advanced manufacturing processes. We specialize in single and double-sided circuits, as well as multi-layer and flex circuit assemblies. The flex circuits are built to the exacting specifications of our customers, meeting the most demanding of applications in the ultrasound probe, medical device, semiconductor test & manufacturing equipment, industrial equipment, and aerospace markets. With all engineering, tooling, and manufacturing operations housed in our state of the art 150,000 sq. ft. facility in Plymouth, MA, Tech-Etch is the perfect choice for all of your flexible circuit needs, from quick turn and prototype through production volumes.

American Standard Circuits to Exhibit at Montreal/Pointe-Claire and Markham EPTECH Shows

American Standard Circuits has revealed that it will be presenting this year at both the Montreal/Pointe-Claire and Markham EPTECH (Electronics Items and Technology) exhibitions.

The Montreal/Pointe-Claire show will be hosted on April 25th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Pointe-Claire. The Markham show will be hosted two days later on April 27th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Le Parc in Thornhill, Ontario.

“As this year’s trade event circuit begins, we’re very thrilled to let everyone learn about all of the new items and technologies we should take a look at. In the past year, we’ve put in a good deal of both time and money on boosting our facility in West Chicago and exhibiting at events, for example, the EPTECH shows, provides the opportunity to talk to our clients face to face about these innovations. This year we’re in particular excited about conversing with these corporations concerning our fresh on-line micro eBook, The Printed Circuit Board Designer’s Help guide to Flex and Rigid-Flex Principles,” said American Standard Circuits CEO, Anaya Vardya.
